Our very first printer
2014
-
With
the
start
up
of
Darko
Strojevi
and
the
brand
name
Goya
3D,
the
first
3D
printer
to
be
developed
and
manufactured
in
Croatia
and
wider
Eastern
Europe
was
aptly
named
Gogo,
in
honor
of
its'
key
developer,
Goran
Jelicic
from
the
island
of
Zlarin.
Following
its
completion
and
due
to
its'
level
of
performance
paired
with
its'
price,
the
3D
printer
was
sold
to
Universities
and
school
and
outperformed
leading
brands
of
the
time,
such
as
Ultimaker.
2013 - now
Started
company
Darko
Strojevi
and
produced
with
his
partner
one
of
the
very
first
FDM
3D
printers
in
Croatia
and
wider
region
of
Eastern Europe in 2014.
In
January
2017
released
unique
3
gantry
3D
printer
with
worldwide
leading
performance
where
each
bridge
can
carry
two
or
more
double
printing
heads.
Each
head
can
be
also
replaced
with
any
tooling
and
material
printing
and
handling
machine.
Machine
is
really
universal
machine
which
can
be

clay
and

Combining
this

a
manager

all DA (Design Automation) tools and methodology for computers
and
microprocessors
design
at
leading
American
companies
(RISC,
SUN
Microsystems,
Digital
Equipment,
Compaq,
Intel)
managing over 100 engineers.
During
this
period
closely
contributed
to
development
of
3
fastest
computers
in
world:
Ridge
Risk
machine,
Sun
Microsystem
machines,
Digital
Alpha
Machine
(which
when
introduced
was
4
times faster than any other machine on planet).
Major
accomplishment:
made
total
turnaround
of
DA
department.
Key
person
in
alpha
project
said:
“Darko
lit
this
place.”
In
my
honor
whole
engineering
organized
the
lunch
for
me and whole group to celebrate our performance.
Established
two
design
centers
in
Europe.
One
in
Croatia
to
develop
DA
tools
and
design
parts
of
microprocessors.
The
comment
from
engineers
in
USA
who
were
originally
skeptical
said:
Your
Croatian
engineers
walk
on
water”.
My
manager
wanted
to
reduce
group
in
USA
and
hire
50
more
design
engineers
in
Croatia
Design
Center.
After
3
years
of
operation
we
brought
group
capability
to
be
able
to
take
responsibility
of
the
whole microprocessor design.
Established
software
development
center
at
Kiev
Polytechnic
Institute, leading SSSR development place for CAD tools.
1971 - 1983
As
a
scientific
assistant
at
Faculty
of
Electric
Engineering,
University
of
Zagreb,
Croatia,
participated
in
realization
and
delivery
of
many
computer
engineering
courses
at
undergraduate
and
graduate
studies.
In
parallel
earned
master
and
PhD
in
area
of computer graphics.
